Credit Report
Everyone is entitled to one free credit report each year from each of the three reporting bureaus. If you have not already done so, visit annual credit report to obtain your free credit reports.
The following links will connect you to the three major credit reporting agencies that can provide you with a copy of your credit report:
Credit Score
Information on the credit report is useful, but in reality, we have all been reduced to a number. Called a Beacon or a FICO score, you can learn all about it at myFICO.com.
Credit Counseling Requirements
Before you file for bankruptcy, you will have to take a Credit Counseling Course through a United States Trustee Certified credit counseling agency. Oliveros & O'Brien, P.C. recommends Cricket Debt Counseling to conduct this step of the financial recovery process. Our firm is a registered user of Cricket Debt Counseling, and can provide an attorney code upon consulting with our office so you do not have to pay for the course.
After you file for bankruptcy, you will have to complete a Financial Education Course. You can go back to Cricket Debt Counseling for the financial education course.
Car Values
Kelley Blue Book is the trusted resource for prices, values, and reviews on new and used cars.

"Kill All the Lawyers"
Shakespeare may have said it best, but some of these jokes come close. We all love to poke fun at lawyers and car salesmen, especially lawyers. (We hear that car salesmen do not have a very good sense of humor!) View the joke of the day at megalaw.com.
