Gregory P. Oliveros

Gregory P. Oliveros is an Oregon native who has resided in the state for over a half century. A graduate of Washington High School, Greg earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Western Oregon State College in 1973. He taught in the Portland Public School District from 1973 through 1987. In 1980-81, Greg returned to school, obtaining two Masters Degrees from Portland State University. For over ten years, Greg was employed part time at Nordstrom at the Lloyd Center.

In 1990, Greg received his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School and began practicing law in 1991. Greg practices primarily in two areas, family law and bankruptcy.

In his spare time, Greg plays golf and enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Gina, three daughters and two granddaughters.

Michael D. O'Brien

ichael D. O'Brien is the Managing Partner of Oliveros & O'Brien, P.C. and also supervises the Bankruptcy Practice Group. An Oregon native, Mike graduated from Wilson High School and the University of Oregon where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in History. In 1994, Mike earned his Juris Doctor from University of Wisconsin Law School.

Mike's practice focuses on bankruptcy for small business owners and complex Chapter 7 and 13 cases. Mike also represents individuals and small business owners in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. In 2007, Mike received Board Certification as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification. He is a frequent speaker on debtor/creditor issues and an active member of the Oregon State Bar Debtor/Creditor section. Mike is admitted to practice law in Oregon, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Mike is married to his darling wife Cheri, and they have four children, Kyle, Toran, Maguire, and Jocelyn. Although his legal practice keeps him busy, Mike is a dedicated husband and father who coaches baseball with one son, is involved in scouting with another, and never misses a school concert or dance performance.

William Clarence Knox, III

William Clarence Knox, III (Bill) was born and raised in Virginia. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1985, Mr. Knox moved to Washington, DC where he took a position with a large engineering company in their Contracts Administration Department.

Bill eventually returned home to Virginia Beach, and became a sworn auxiliary police officer with the Virginia Beach Police Department. As a police officer, Mr. Knox primarily worked out of the department’s resort oceanfront precinct with a concentration in basic law and traffic enforcement.

In 1993, Bill moved to Portland, Oregon in order to be closer to his family, and in 1997, he decided to follow a lifelong dream, entering law school at Willamette University College of Law. While in law school, Bill earned awards for his trial skills and was a member of the school’s law review. Admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington, he now concentrates his practice in the areas personal injury, domestic relations, and other general business litigation matters.

In his spare time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Lee Anne, and daughter, April.

Rob Hildum

Rob Hildum grew up in southeast Michigan. He earned a degree in Political Science from Kalamazoo College, whe re he was a Division III All-American swimmer. In 1983, Rob came to Oregon to attend Lewis & Clark College of Law. In law school, he was an associate editor of the Environmental Law law review, served as a certified law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and made his first court appearances prosecuting federal misdemeanors. He obtained his Juris Doctor in 1986 and subsequently served as a law clerk for the Multnomah County Presiding Court.

Rob’s main practice area during the last decade has been family law, including dissolution, child custody, support modifications, property division, negotiated settlements, and the defense of restraining orders. He also practices civil litigation, and has a background in employment and criminal law.

Rob and his wife Debi, also an attorney, live in rural east Multnomah County with their two daughters Peri and Camille and their endless critters. When not in the office, he can sometimes be found, but rarely overtaken, on his mountain bike or road bike.
